Successful candidates will have a passion fortechnology, a focus on the customer experience and greatteamwork/communication skills.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Experience in web development (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, JQuery,AngularJS, Ruby on Rails) in an industry environment. Relevant degree (2.1 or higher). Equivalent experience will be considered. Demonstrated coding and problem solving skills in at least one modernprogramming language, e.g. JavaScript, Ruby, Java. Demonstrated ability to deliver complex features using raw JavaScript,without using libraries. You can also evaluate and use front-endlibraries, frameworks, and toolsets effectively. You are capable ofextending and debugging libraries, and can dive into the source code todebug and patch when necessary. A system level understanding of how different tiers of the codebaseinteract; you will provide input to architecture and API design toensure smooth end-to-end integration. Strong written and verbal English communication skills.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Demonstrated best-practice engineering including some Agilemethodologies, unit testing, TDD, refactoring, code reviews, build anddeployment processes. Experience providing technical leadership and mentoring other engineers.
