Whatwill you help us create?The Role:As a Quality Assurance Engineer , you will work with consumerapplication testing expertise. You will join the team of hands-on,pro-active, self-motivated and seasoned QAE professionals. In this role,you will: Create test plans and test cases Efficiently execute test cases across all functional areas of our products Review product user interface for conformity to design guidelines Find, isolate, document, regress, and track bugs through resolution Interpret and report testing results, and be a vocal proponent forquality in every phase of the development process Work with Software Development Engineers to understand the overalltechnical architecture and how each feature is implemented Participate in creating automated test frameworks by adding new testcases and executing themBASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering,Electrical Engineering or equivalent 3+ years of software QA testing experience with black and grey boxfunctional testing Experience testing camera or multimedia related features in SW or HW productsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Multimedia product experience with wireless consumer electronics Demonstrated expertise in black, white box and grey box testingmethodologies, experience with standard QA and development tools, andthe ability to operate within short release cycles Highly methodical test discipline, applicable to all product UI Continuous Integration Creativity and initiative to improve product coverage and effectiveness Hands-on experience in testing Linux/Android-based devices Solid understanding of QA tool development chains and environments Experience coding and scripting in python/BASH Exposure to C/C++ and Java (read and understand basic concepts) Familiarity with WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n and Bluetooth Creativity and initiative to improve product coverage and effectivenessLab126 is part of the Amazon.com, Inc. group of companies and is anEqual Opportunity-Affirmative Action Employer – Minority / Female /Disability / Veteran / Gender Identity / Sexual Orientation. – provided by Dice ANDROID, BLUETOOTH, C++, COMPUTER SCIENCE, DEGREE, JAVA, LINUX, PYTHON, QA, TECHNICAL ARCHITECTURE, WIRELESS
